Maria: Location

Located approximately 167 kilometres NNW of Mexico City the area is characterized by strongly mountainous terrain. From Mexico City you travel on toll highway (autopista) #57 to the city of San Juan del Rio, from there you travel NNE on National #120 to Vizarron. Approximately 5 kilometres north of Vizarron there is a turnoff that goes to the village of San Joaquin. The mine entrance is located approximately 11 kilometres from the village of San Joaquin.
