Change of Directors
Vancouver, B.C., September 21, 2009 - Galena Capital Corp. (TSXV: FYI) (the "Company" or "Galena"), a Vancouver based company listed on the TSX Venture Exchange (the "Exchange") is pleased to announce that Paul Roberts has joined the Board of Directors of the Company effective today.
Mr. Roberts is a director of QRS Capital Corp and has been the Finance Manager of Apex Investigation and Security Inc. since March 28, 2008. Mr. Roberts is also the owner and broker of record of Apex Realty Services Ltd., a company he established in 1994.
"I am very pleased to add Paul to our team and am looking forward to his input and guidance as we move forward in Mexico. It is our goal to keep focusing on our Maureen Project and seek additional joint venture partners for Galena's other Mexican properties", states Arni Johannson, company chairman and CEO.
Mr. Roberts replaces Darren Devine who has resigned as a director of the Company.
The Board welcomes Mr. Roberts and thanks Mr. Devine for his service.
