DIRECTORS
Craig Lindsay - Director, CEO
Mr. Lindsay has in excess of 20 years experience in corporate finance, investment banking and business development in both North America and Asia. He is currently Managing Director of Arbutus Grove Capital Corp., a private company offering corporate finance and merchant banking services. Mr. Lindsay was a Founder and President of Magnum Uranium Corp. until its merger with Energy Fuels Inc. (TSX: EFR in June 2009). As well, Mr. Lindsay was a Vice President in the Corporate Finance and Investment Banking Group at PricewaterhouseCoopers LLP. Mr. Lindsay was Founder of Malaspina Capital Ltd., a junior capital pool company, and was responsible for indentifying its merger with Miranda Mining Corp (a Mexican-based gold producer that was subsequently acquired by Wheaton River Minerals). He has been a Director of Galena since April 11, 2011.
Michael Sweatman - Director, CFO
Mr. Sweatman possesses in excess of 20 years experience as a Chartered Accountant in public and private practice and has worked with and provided advice to many companies listed on the TSX Venture and Toronto Stock Exchanges. Mr. Sweatman was admitted to the Institute of Chartered Accountants of British Columbia in 1982 and in the Yukon in 1990. He has been the owner-manager of MDS Management Ltd., a management company, since November 1992. He is CFO and Director of Lions Gate Metals Inc. (LGM.V) and Galena Capital Corp. (FYI.V). Mr. Sweatman is also a Director of Brownstone Resources Ltd., Mega Precious Metals Inc. (MGP.V), which are reporting companies listed on the TSX Venture Exchange, and of Mega Uranium Ltd., which is listed on the Toronto Stock Exchange.
Blair McIntyre - Director
Mr. McIntyre has spent his professional career in Vancouver working with a number of Fortune 500 companies to develop strategic business initiatives. Recognizing the decline in new mines coming online and declining production numbers in the majority of commodities, Mr. McIntyre began working with Canadian Nexus Ventures (CNV) as their Vice President of Mining and Exploration Investments. Through CNV, Mr. McIntyre has worked with mining companies in the precious metals, uranium, and base metals sectors. Mr. McIntyre is also the President of Lions Gate Metals Inc.
Richard Schroeder - Director
Mr. Schroeder received his Bachelor of Science degree from the University of British Columbia in 1976 and his Chartered Accountants designation from the Institute of Chartered Accountants of British Columbia in 1981. Mr. Schroeder was a partner of the firm Ellis Foster, Chartered Accountants for over fifteen years and was continued as a partner at Ernst & Young LLP following their merger in 2005. He has over thirty five years of experience advising multinational public companies with focuses on the mining and financial services sectors. Mr. Schroeder retired from Ernst & Young LLP effective July 1, 2011.
